In observance of the 1^st Annual International Anti-Corruption Day in Sierra Leone, a 3 - day programme of event has been drawn up as follows:

Thursday 9^th December 2004: 10:00am – 12:30pm

Topic:         “The Cost of Corruption in Sierra Leone”

Venue:       The British Council Auditorium, Tower Hill

   Mrs. Mary-Magaret Dineen, Director National   Democratic Institute (NDI)

Under the joint auspices of the ACC, the National Drug Control Agency and the Ministry of Education, Science & Technology, there will be another symposium for Colleges & Senior Secondary School students on the same day and time. 

 Topics:   

(i)  “The Cost of Corruption in Sierra Leone”

(ii) “The Psycho-Social Problems Affecting Young People Through The Abuse & Misuse of Drugs”.

Venue:    Former Institute of Education conference Hall, A.J. Momoh Street, Tower Hill (back of Sierra Leone Library Board).

Panelists:       Mr. Joseph Taylor – Ministry of Education, Bo District.

Mr. Julius Foday – Fourah Bay College

Mr. Ahmed Ramadan Jalloh – Youth Arise!

Participants will be drawn from colleges and senior secondary schools throughout the country.The public particularly young people, are invited to actively participate.
