Mission, Vision and Values
MISSION
The
mission of the Anti-Corruption Commission is the effective
prevention and control of corruption in all its forms in
Sierra Leone.
VISION
The
vision of the Anti-Corruption is to see a Sierra Leone that
is free from all form of corruption to enhance the rule
of law in order to create an environment for good governance
and reform, which is the cornerstone of development and
the eradication of poverty for the benefit of all its citizens.
VALUES: The Anti-Corruption
Commission values four principles:
Quality
Service Delivery
Recognising
that it is accountable to the people of Sierra Leone, the
ACC will deliver its service promptly, efficiently and competently
.It will do so working as a team.
Personal
and Professional Conduct
All
officers of the ACC will at all times perform their duties
with the highest level of integrity, objectivity, professionalism,
honesty, competence ,commitment, due diligence and without
compromising on confidentiality. Officers will exercise
courtesy and respect.
Constitutional
and Legal Principles
The
ACC will at all times conform and adhere to the rule of
law and respect Human Rights. This includes the principles
of transparency, confidentiality, independence, non-discrimination
in respect of gender, religion or ethnicity.
Coalition
Building
The
ACC will foster partnership will foster partnership with
institutions in both the public and private sectors,civil
society and will promote the ideas of partnership publicity.
