LINKS WITH OTHER ACC AGENCIES

It is intended that the ACC in Sierra Leone will benefit as much as possible from lessons learned in other countries from the fight against corruption. The Botswana Directorate, which is structured around Investigation, Prevention, and Community Relations, is regarded as the most relevant model for Sierra Leone. The Commissioner and some Senior Members of staff of the ACC have already undertaken a study tour to Botswana. As a result, there is an informal commitment between the Botswana Directorate and the ACC to liaise and share experience.
