Investigating Officer
VACANCY
NOTICE
The
Anti-Corruption Commission invites applications from suitably
qualified Sierra Leoneans for the POSITIONS OF INVESTIGATION
OFFICERS in an expanding Investigations Department
in Freetown but with extensive travel within the country.
- Main
duties include but are not limited to:Investigating
allegations of reported cases of corrupt practices and
misappropriation of funds
- Interviewing
witnesses and suspects
- Recording
statements from suspects and witnesses
- Collecting
and collating documents
- Preparing
where necessary cases for prosecution
- Any
other duties relating to such investigations
EDUCATION
A good first degree from a recognized University preferably
in Law or Accounting.
SALARY
An attractive package and excellent conditions of service
will be offered to the successful candidates
REQUIREMENT
- Skills
in the private or public sector in the area of financial
Accounting, Law, Auditing, Banking,
Procurement, Insurance, Shipping etc.
- Good
knowledge of computing
- Good
analytical skills
- Excellent
communication skills including writing and presentation
of reports
- Ability
to work as part of a team
- Possession
of a valid drivers license
Successful
candidates who will be required to undergo extensive specialized
training must be prepared to undergo integrity and probity
checks and make a declaration of their assets and other
sources of income.

Office and submitted not later than 8th May 2006 in sealed
