Anti Corruption Commission teams up with Airports Authority
In a bid to launder the image of the country, the ACC in collaboration with SLAA and other stakeholders are working assiduously to develop a frame work that would entails areas of vulnerability and abuse; as well as to proffer preventive recommendations for a Best Practice Guide which will not only face-lift the image of the Freetown International Airport and the country as a whole but will also improve on accountability and transparency in revenue generation that will beef up the revenue base of this sector.

ACC's Prevention Department to work on Records Management in Primary Schools
It will be recalled that sometime last year, the Prevention Department of the Anti-Corruption Commission in collaboration with GTZ and the Ministry of Education, undertook a nation-wide monitoring of service delivery to Primary Schools as part of its efforts towards the achievement of the Sierra Leone strategic objective on education and the second Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) which is to achieve universal primary education for all. Corruption the Biblical Perspective
Corruption is the scourge of this generation. Turn on the radio or television or open any newspaper in the world on any day and, chances are, you will come across something that has to do with corruption. Its insidious effects are more far-reaching and, maybe, even more devastating than civil wars, the spread of cancer or HIV/Aids. Everyday, silently kills thousands of people, especially in a country like Sierra Leone, and will continue to blight the lives of generations yet unborn if it continues unchecked.

Poetry, Essay & Poster Competition
This competition is a new angle of approach to engage our young people, the direct inheritors of the Sierra Leone Legacy in a national dialogue. Hoping that we get the right responses, a good foundation would have been laid for further interactions to continue on a variety of issues relevant to good Governance and Reform. There is also the aspect of civic education for our young people, which the ACC is now in the process of developing.
